What's the best solution (no pun intended) for removing ink resist from homemade pcbs?

Every how-to I read simply says remove it, but doesn't suggest what chemical is best (I'm using a sharpie to draw the lines, but am getting ready to switch to transparent laser prints).

Thanks.
