Whats the best circuit to delay clock? (CMOS)

If I have a clock in, what is the best circuit to delay the clock according to the need? Thank you for your help.

BTW, this is for CMOS.

The simplest way is to use an invertor chain.
If one needs more accuracy, DLL or PLL with controlled phase offset can be used.
