TI or ADI's DSP ??

Can anyone tell me what's the advantage in choosing ether TI/ADI's DSP from the other one?
Which insturction set resulting smaller code size or higher performance??

Thanks in advance!

Re: TI or ADI's DSP ??

hi,
well that is a debatable issue! personally i find ti better becaus their support is better although they have somewhat complicated architecture but it can be utilized for better performance once u r through with it. ti chips generally consume less power and also have higher clock speeds but their price is also higher.
Unless u decide an application u cannot choose a clear winner among them both have their pros and cons!

I like TI - yes, their support is great, and their development IDE is relatively cheap. Debugging support is great too!

Re: TI or ADI's DSP ??

How about audio application such as MP3,WMA, AAC which is better?
And which is better for video processing such as MPEG4 ASP or H.264?
