What's good sound chip for uC control

I'm interested in designing binaural beat generator using microcontroller. Any sound chip suited for this task and available for online purchase ?

Apology about the searching thing.

However, I need info on chip capable of FM synthesis (to generate arbitary waveform) with minimum 2-channel (L&R) audio range with about 0.01Hz resolution, under digital control. The functionality is similar to DDS but most DDS chip are too expensive because they handle waves in MHz range

There was the SAA1099 from Philips but it's now obsolete. Any equivalent?
