Hi guys, I'm pretty new to all of this so bare with me...

I have been working on making an electromagnetic levitator and the pwm for the electromagnet is controlled with a tl494. Speaking with someone who has built one told me that I need to set the frequency to 200khz. The only problem is that I don't know how to calculate the resistor and capacitor values needed. I have found the equation used in the datasheet, but I cannot figure out how to calculate what I need by using it. Can anyone help me?

Thank you for any help!

Hi.
C(pF) = 1,1*1000000000000/(200000(Hz)*3000(Ohm)) = 1800pF
better if capacitor value is not very small and res value not very big.
certainly if you want use it in push-pull operation mode it is necessary redouble oscillator frequency to 400kHz for 200kHz output.
