What types of resonant are used here?

Hi,
Can anyone let me know what type of resonant used here? parallel or series resonant? and why?any other suggestions will be much appreciated.

This is a LC series resonant circuit. R is used to provide a fixed resistance at high frequency application so as to prevent high static power consumption due to low reactance in C.
