What type of motor to be used?

What type of motor can be used for our polisher mobot?

Do we need to use stepper motors?
 

it depends on your application, where you need to use it, only thing it cannot be used for moving the robot... other than that for moving hands to clean or polisg can be used.... but you need to think or let us know your correct application.....
 
if you have a look at the Microchip motor design centre it discusses applications of the different motor types
