Would the expert DFT/Test engineers please share your experience with different DFT synthesis and ATPG tools, with regards to DFT rule checking, scan chain insertion, coverage estimation, Test generation, etc. Please comment on -
1. DFT/ATPG tool of your choice
2. ease of use, flow integartion
3. flexibility
4. quality of results
5. run-time
(please specify design size <instance-count or register-count>,
and specific DFT task)
6. test-coverage and compression achieved (for ATPG tools)
etc.
