I think it's about carrier (electrons or holes) transport in semiconductors.

while referring electromagnetic theory, i found three equations as poisson, laplace, continuity equation and transport equation...among this 4 equations, i am familiar with first 3 equation whereas fourth sounds as unfamiliar equation,, that why i posted it in our forum...

it is an analytical solution of transport problem
it is called boltzman transport equation which is a statement that accounts for additions to and subtraction from the radiation in a given increment of space, energy and direction.
