what is the output of SQW pin in ds1307?

whether it gives 1sec pulse?
 

It is a square wave output (open drain, requires pullup resistor), it can be set to output any of the below frequencies:

1Hz
4.096kHz
8.192kHz
32.768kHz

Check the datasheet of the device
