video ADC

i want to convert video analog to digital video signal and read the reading

through the parallel port. To do this it reqiured to connect the output

of adc to FIFO memory and to parallel port.but if i do not have FIFO memory what

is the replacement of FIFO memory..is it 74hc244 ...please help me

Re: video ADC

The 74HC244 is just an 8-bit buffer, what you need is a proper video FIFO memory, something similar to: **broken link removed** ..
Without that it is pointless to start a/d video conversion ..
