Decoupling capacitors

Hi All,

What is the range for decoupling Capacitors?

Thanking You.

Re: Decoupling capacitors

what do u mean by range ??? is it SRF u mean

Decoupling capacitors

whatever decouples the noise from your circuit. you look at noise frequency..then tell.............you need to make sure that the capacitor has HIGH impedance for the signals of your circuit....but LOW impedance for the unwanted signals which it will "flush" away to ground

Re: Decoupling capacitors

Decoupling capacitors are used to cancel circuit noise and vary from AC supply (50/60 Hz) to RF (Ghz / Thz ) .It's very dificult tell you "range".There are a lot of variables , most important working frequency.
