What is the present situation of semiconductor industry ????

AMD layoffffff 500 people and conexant cut offs?????
 

Dont worru pramod.It still good in India.Amd is laying off buut all abroad not in India..
Dont worry dear friend if we have capablility semiconductor still is ok...

even sasken removes people but it recruits again

ya there is some problem with these companies.....basically s/c industary is highly skilled industry ....thts y it has less openings...but for experienced guys...there r lot of openings....nokia is looking for some exp. guys....freescale is also recruiting massively
 

Montalvo Systems got acquired by SUN & they laid off all the employs.. The present situation is good in big MNC's & they keep on recruiting the ppl.
