What are the minimum software required for doing prototyping...

DO any one have Altera Design Flow. Startiing from HDL to rbf file...

Well all that theory and study :) ha what I did was I got a Cyclone prototype board, then read bunch of Verilog tutorials on the web and I can wip a pretty complex code for the high-end Altera FPGAs only after few months of messing around:

I paid $95 bucks for the board from China, if interested let me know for the contact info of my supplier, would rather not post his phone #, etc on the forum.

Or feel free to buy one of those boards from eBay:
