What is the Merit & drawback of PIP Capacitor?

MIM Capacitor is very usable in designing RF application.

But MIM is requied additional Layer Mask.

What is the Merit & Drawback about PIP Capacitor?

good precision; noiseless compare to MOS cap; low voltage and temperature coefficient;

big area;
