More specifically, what is the distinction between the SoC on the ZedBoard:
*Xilinx Zynq-7000 AP SoC XC7Z020-CLG484
And the SoC placed on the UltraZed-EV:
* Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC XCZU7EV-1FBVB900
What is the degree of similarity between these two SoCs? Is it feasible to undertake experimental work on the ZedBoard and then upload it to the UltraZed if it does function correctly?
It probably doesn't make much sense to port an application that doesn't rely on any of the Ultrascale specific resources to Ultrascale, but it should be possible. Of course it FPGA and SoC part must be recompiled.
