What is the difference between sink and sync.

Sink pins are the endpoints of the clock tree (leaf pins) that are used for delay balancing.

Sync pins, in reality are not leaf pins. But they are treated as leaf pins and user can specify some insertion delay requirements on that pin.


Correct me if I am wrong.
