Hi,
For circuit design, Which software is most popular?

What is the difference between Orcad capture, pspice or cadence?

I am kind of confused.

Thanks

Re: design software

Cadence is a company that makes and distributes OrCAD an PSpice (alond with other software packages).
OrCAD capture is a tool for capturing (drawing) schematics.
PSpice is a circuit simulation tool.

Re: design software

Hi ,

There is one more software in the market called MultiSIM from National instruments (NI) which is having alot of good features in its highest edition such as

Incorporation of virtual instruments
Integration with lab view , and close loop system
C code modeling
east to work....
this even comes as complete bundle for PCB designers with layout and routing facility.

please find the attached details and release notes of the software and u can get alot of information in NI web site as well.
