Hi
What is the difference between Frequency division Multiplexing and Wave Division Multiplexing?

Thanks

difference between fdm and wdm

Hi,
FDM is used for multiplexing analog signals and WDM is used for multiplexing optical signals.
Hope u got it.
Regards
Bhanumurthy.

difference between wdm and fdm

basic concept behind both is same,,but WDM is possible only in optical fibres and thus can only be used to multiplex optical signals. Howver FDM can be used to multiplex both.

wdm vs fdm

By concept both are same, but the terminology depends on the range of frequency of the electromagnetic wave to be used for multiplexing. In the RF range it is termed as FDM whereas in the optical domain of frequency the other one.

diffrence between fdm and wdm

basic idea is same, fdm is used for analog signal multiplexing where as wdm is used for optical signals
