i just wanna get something clear

after prototyping a design on FPGA, it should be converted to ASIC for mass production..right???

digital ASIC

in general, you can say, from the industry trend, that digital ASIC is semi-custom design, meaning, there are already standard cells which you will map to your hardware based on the design.

Analog is more of Full custom design, in this case, you will have to design each and every cell and the corresponding hardware components which use these cells along with it too.

Let me know if this helped. also, please get a second opinion on this
