What is the default output from U2270B?

Hi All
I choose U2270B Atmel base station IC and select the 3rd circuit diagram from datasheet, i wrote small 8051 program to read the o/p from U2270B and send serial, but when i connect the power i read data from U2270B, so any one know what is the default o/p from U2270B,
any one can take me some hint to detect the proplem.
