Dear all,

I am new to IDMA and I want to understand its basic concept, and its advantages over CDMA and othe multiple access techniques.

Thanks,
Ahmed

In IDMA each user has a different interleaver pattern. They say it is better than CDMA as it is less prone to MAI (which kills CDMA).

google "IDMA Li Ping" in order to find introductory papers and a C program on IDMA.

sir,
i'm just trying to study idma. i got some doubts
1)whats the differnce between scrambling and interleaving
2)what are the affects of both both coding and spreading on bandwidth?( both of them increase the bandwidth there is a distinction i GUESS) WHAT IS THAT. is that related to shannon bandwidth ?
3)how can chip level inter leaving solve the problem of code gain ?
i really expect one of you to clarify at least some of my doubts?
i gone through a lot of ieee papers about idma. but u know these papers are hard to understand
