What is the color code for a 4.7 ohm resistor? I know it should be Yellow, Violet for 4, 7. But I don't know what the "multiplier" should be since they don't seem to go below 0 (for 10 to the zero, or 1). It needs a multiplier of 0.1 .

Re: small resistor value

Hi,

Take a look at this:

Multiplier of 0.1 is gold, multiplier of 0.01 is silver.

Hope this helps.
Tahmid.

Thank you. I wasn't aware of the silver and gold colors being used in that way. Thanks again.
