I'm a fresh graduate who involve in FPGA Xilinx design using VHDL and Verilog. WHat is the best way to master it .
any ebook , information , tutorial recommended ??
Please help me...

"FPGA sharing ..."

Thanks,

buy yourself an FPGA development board, play with it...

refer to the various reference designs on the internet, try it out...

since u are a fpga design engineer... u will master it after few years... :p

anyway, read a few books like <VHDL Programming by Example 4th Ed - McGraw Hill> and <Circuit Design With VHDL, V. A. Pedroni; MIT Press> is a good start... strong fundamental is very important...

regards,
sp

books...read lots of books
u'll find tons here on edaboard if u search

and do some applications such as those in xilinx site:

**broken link removed**

get the free ISE webpack software from the xilinx site also:
but first register here:

**broken link removed**

and of course get a development kit to see ur designs for real:)

best of luck,
Salma:)

Hi,

Learn the Basics of programming Languges like VHDL. U can get lot of material online in regard to this. Once u get an Idea of how to program using VHDl try to model Basic Digital designs on ur own so that u can understand the problems while coding, then u can try to design more complex designs.

As a starter dont straight worry abt the FPGA architectures now itself once u get an idea of how to model the designs u can study abt the FPGA architectures.

hi,
my suggestion is
Practice a lot
try to implement different designs by using any ISE evaluation version from Xilinx
Practice only makes man Perfect !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
