Can somebody explain to me what is the physical meaning of Temperature Co-efficient? The unit is in mV/degreeCelcius but what does this tells us? How does Temperature Co-efficient correlate to Bandgap Voltage Reference?

Thanks in advance

for bandgap:

delta V/(delta T)
the change value to Temperature

It is major paramter for BGP design

Essentially the definition that given by sunking.
I would add that most often manufacturers measure the maximum voltage variation over a given temperature and divide the two. But the variation is in most cases NOT linear. So the tempco in datasheets is really an average.

The TC is the variation of a voltage, current, resistance, etc with the variation of the temperature, for example, the resistance raises as the temperature raises.

The TC is related with the bandgap cell because the variation its voltage must be very low as varies the temperature.

One way to describe the TC is with mV/ºC, that is (VREFmax-VREFmin)/(Tmax-Tmin) or delta(VREF)/delta(T).
For ppm/ºC ist delta(VREF)/(delta(T)*VREF)
