Hi,

Here I have attached two images. IN the first image, I have doubt that some capacitor has no value and the name "NC" is to be seem instead of its value.
Where in second image, some components are also have same problem that they do not have values but instead of its value, "DNP" is written. Other is FIDUCIAL-1X2, what is this? I need to order this component from online so I need to be clear about its meaning and package and value as well.
So can anyone help me to make clear about what is the meaning of DNP and NC? What should we consider as NC and DNP, Fiducial?
For the second image you have to consider the following BOM :

A fiducial is an alignment mark on the PCB. Google it and you'll find there is a wiki page on it. They are there so a pick and place machine can have reference points on the board so it can use the offsets from them to place all the components.

DNP, I don't know but it might stand for Do Not Place. I usually see DNI (Do Not Install)

NC, No Connect? I have no clue what it means in the context of a capacitor's value.

1. DNP means Do Not Populate, that component no need to solder on the board.
2. In the case of NC I have doubt,it may be No Component,No Connect or No Change from previous value.
3. Fiducial is not a component, its marking on the PCB.

Hi,

Thanks for help but I am still confused that what will be the value of that DNP resistor in this case of circuit? Because if we are not going to mount them on a board, then definitely it will have some value. So can anyone let me know what will be the value of DNP resistor?
The DNP resistor is going to be connected to Loop Antenna. So is it for impedance matching?
Please guide me.

Thanks.

DNP = Do not populate.
It is a footprint on the board that has nothing fitted to it (No component is installed).

Usually you design them in when you are trying to give yourself options, or to allow you to tweak things without having to get the board respun.

I would note that at 2.4GHz, pcb latout will have a huge effect on the required values in the matching network, so leaving yourself options is only sensable.

Regards, Dan.

The tuning components are to match the required feed to the actual PCB design, the no fits are there as back up.
