Grid error means, your drawn layout layers are not exactly on the grid. so better to zoom your layout and chek carefully. if you are using hercules then definetily in output layout error file, co-ordinate of error location will be mension. and you can find out error easily

This error comes when u have taken the grid of ur window lass then the allowed in the particular technology.
in that case all the devices and maetals need not be on the desired grid locations and for correcting this error change the basic griod of ur window to the technology specific grid and then shift all the devices and metals accordingly.
I am sure this error will go then
grid error is because of your x,y snap settings are not integer multiple of technology grid size mentioned in the technology file. It signifies to min linewidth of the process.
