Hi,

I learn to use SMASH for mixed signal analysis. On CIRCUIT view, it has several E_SOURCE_AMS icon below an AMS file (in this picture, the AMS file is a diode.)

I do not find the usage of this component. Could you help me on that?

Thanks

Continue with the above question.
I find an operating point file: IdealDiode.op, see below please. It has voltage sources line in active while the current sources lines in comment mode. Why is this? Operating point file is a source design input file, is it right?

Thanks,

Nets:

DIODE_CKT.T1 = 0.0000000e+000 V.
DIODE_CKT.T2 = -1.0000000e-021 V.

Voltage sources:

diode_ckt.E[b1] = 0.0000000e+000 V, -1.0000000e-024 A, 0.000e+000 W.

Current sources:

* diode_ckt.G[b2] = 1.0000000e-024 A, 1.0000000e-021 V, 1.000e-045 W.
* diode_ckt.diode1.G[b1] = 1.0000000e-024 A, -1.0000000e-021 V, 1.000e-045 W.

END_USE_OP_TAG

* ----------------------------------------------------------------------
* SPICE Dissipated power
* ----------------------------------------------------------------------

diode_ckt.diode1 = 0.0000000e+00 W.
diode_ckt = 0.0000000e+00 W.
Total SPICE power = 0.0000000e+00 W.
