dynamic range definition circuit

what is dynamic range by definition?

DR is the ratio between the maximum signal and the minmum signal which SNR=0

Dynamic Range = Max Analog (expressed in Vrms or Vpeak)/Min Analog (expressed in Vrms or Vpeak)
This is usually expressed in Decibel = 20 log (Max/Min)
If noise is included, then this is expressed as 20 log [ (Max-noise)/(Min-noise) ]
