What is "Common Mode Insertion Loss" in RFI/EMI Filters?

Re: RFI/EMI Filter

I want to know what the term "Common Mode Insertion Loss" means. The above files you have mentioned do not explain it. They are datasheet/design notes of various filter manufacturers.

Re: RFI/EMI Filter

Common Mode as opposed to Differential Mode.

Insertion loss is the attenuation of the signal as it goes
through the Filter.

Cheers
