Do you mean 4-wire SPI?
If so, 3-wire SPI (MISO, MOSI, SCLK) and 1 wire which can be Chip Select or Output Enable.
This I have seen for managing multiple SPI devices on the same bus.
These four lines are for datain, dataout, clock and chip select. If you data is unidirection like microcontroller to LCD, then you might need not to use Datain pin.
I am quite sure the LCD you use will adopt standard 3-wire SPI and 1 select or enable, in the event this LCD shares the same SPI bus with other SPI devices.
