Dear my friends,
I have worked in a company 3 years. I design digital system on fpga. Actually I was a FPGA programmer. Now I think i have a good experience with digital but it is not enough. I think there are other things that i have to know as a digital engineer. But i dont know what those are. I want you to advise me what i should do and know to be better and better.
Thanks for everybody,

Read the books on digital design, digital signal processing, digital signal integrity and in addition try the practical realization, testing and qualifying the designs.

What about learning SystemC? IS it required?

SystemC or Handel-C are required if you want design and implement directly the complex dsp algorithms to hardware in FPGA. The tools for these things are very expensive and yet to be matured.

Read books about digital design, study DSP-algorithms, Verilog, VHDL, programming language.

Good Luck.
