What exactly is panelization in PCB?

Dear All,

Can any one give idea about the panelization in PCB.ANy document??

Is there any pcb design software available which is having panelization facility?


Help is appreciated.........

panelization pcb

CAM350 and GC-Cam are available on the web which have panelisation abilities.
Most Gerber editing programs can do this.

Even GC-Prevue available from www.graphicode.com can be used to make your own panels, just by copying and offsetting layers, although it can only then be used with a manufacturer that also uses graphicodes products or just printing off yourself.

Have a further look through this forum & I'm sure someone mentioned some software that allows you to panelise then export again.
