hi all
what the mean of "return rations" in this paper:
Determination of stability using return ratios in balanced fullydifferential feedback circuits
Hurst, P.J.; Lewis, S.H.
Circuits and Systems II: Analog and Digital Signal Processing, IEEE Transactions on [see also Circuits and Systems II: Express Briefs, IEEE Transactions on]
Volume 42, Issue 12, Dec 1995 Page(s):805 - 817
Digital Object Identifier 10.1109/82.476178
does it mean loop gain? but i can not understand the express of RR(CM)(equation 7) in this paper.
thanks

hi
i think there is a specific chapter about analizing loop stability using "return ratio" in Gray's book (4th edition). so you'd better have a close look at this chapter.
good luck.

Hello,

I was also wondering how to simulate the return ratio by using HSPICE ?
Hope someone can help me out.
Thanks

From Gray's book, I know some return ratio's theory, and I also donot know how to use it to see if system is stable, hehe. Where to find example?

Hello, all

The example 8.33 which may help you understand the "Return Ratio" can be found at page 621.
