Good morning
I have just started learning electronis and already confused with some terms.
When you say amperage is the rate of current passing through a given point does it mean the amount of electrons (quantity) passing through or the speed at which electrons passibg through?
ampere is the amount current (that means the flow of electrons ) passing in a unit area . One ampere current ,which causes 1 columb of charge (equal to 6.25*10^18 ) to pass a given point in one second.
Practically , The current is highly going when the positive and Negative wire are shorted .
There is no current when the (+ve & -Ve wire )wire is not connected through directoly or by using a device .
