Does anyone know what does 'MCS' stand for in MCS-51 microcontroller family?

Even though I have been using these controllers for 6-7 years, I still haven't come across full-form of this ever! I guess its "MICROCONTROLLERS" but not sure.

Re: MCS-51

No. MCS is not stand for Micro controller, beside MCS51 Intel has MCS80 (8080 family), MCS85 (8085 family) and MCS86 (8086 family)!
All above family is not a micro controller but a micro processor!

Re: MCS-51

Aha... that is the answer : MCS means nothing!
Just like AVR means nothing.
