What does butting tap means

This is a definition of layout, so is butting tap the same as body connection?
Or could you pls tell me what'sbutting tap. Thx
 

"butting" means directly adjacent, i.e. the bulk tap (body = substrate or well connection) sits directly adjacent to the source, no distance between n+ and p+ diffusions.
