Hi,
Although I know H.264 is a pure video coding standard,I have some questions about it. Since H.264 is a potential coding standard for HDTV,it must be cooperated with some audio signals. How can H.264 be integrated with some other audio codec standards? Or what audio standards will work with H.264?
Yes, H.264 is pure video coding technique (or standard). MPEG-2 part 2 is also pure one. They generate only video encoded bitstream.
Audio bitstream can be generated seperately from Audio Encdoer like AC-3, MP3, DTS audio encoder and so on.
There is a container standard (or format) to mix up video and audio bitstreams. It is totally another issue.
