how to design a gateway?
What are it's blocks?
I want to connect wireless sensor network with internet

Network interface, a microcontroller and a control and data protocol.
Ideally, don't try to reinvent the wheel, and pick protocols that already exist.
For example, there may already be protocols for wireless sensors, or you may wish to
use (say) HTTP. You could use the protocol to allow remote devices (e.g. computer) to
subscribe to a wireless sensor type of event, and then your gateway can send a 'notify' message
to the remote device whenever the event occurs for instance.
Check the RFCs (https://www.ietf.org/rfc.html ), I am sure there are already protocols
out there that you could reuse.
