What are the functions and capabilities of JupiterXT/IO?

what it can do? our floor plan is just created in Astro .
what is it benifit if i use it?

how heculus compare with caliber?

how accurate start-RCXT parastic extraction compare with Astro LPE?

what jupiter can do

Jupiter is just a floorplan tools, it will generate a floorplan and use astro to place and router. Jupiter are used to quickly generate floorplan and estimate router effect.

Synopsys JupiterXT can do stuff below that cannot be done using Astro:
1. let say your design is a big design and have few partition. JupiterXT can help to do timing budgeting for each of the partition.
2. JupiterXT can help you to push down the row placement from full chip level to partition level.
3. JupiterXT can push down the pin for the partition level based on the routing from the full chip level.

Dear Sir,

JupiterXT have two good function of PNS(power network synthesis) and PNA(power network analysis). you can predict your chip power consumption and tool also automatic generate power trunk for you.
