What are the factors that affect choosing the battery?

What is the factors that affect choosing the battery??

Is it only the microcontroller clock which determines the necessary battery capacity in battery powered microcontroller designs. or there are more factors??

usually i look for voltage, current per hour when choosing a battery

can you explain more?
you should look for the operational Vcc from the datasheet.

it depends on power of your circuit, mcu and time.

for battery operated circuits MSP430 series are good . it take only less current while idel
