help me regardings.....
What a IO standard mean and different IO standards available and the difference between them.

Can you be more specific?
IO stands for input/output (bus)
It is the interfacing between the IC and peripherals.
It can be a bus like PCI or 1 pin on a microcontroller or FPGA.
It can be tri-state, open collector,etc.

So what is your application?

I/O Standard is nothing more than the specifications for a specific signaling system such as TTL or HSTTL. Depending on what you are talking to will determine the I/O standard you use.

The other thing with the different I/O standards is that each standard has their own voltage specifics in regards to what constitutes a low or a high transition as well as the noise margin.
