LC,Ceramic,SAW

Dear all,
can anyone please tell some information about the difference between LC,Ceramic and SAW filters.or if there is a website or an e-book.where i can find what i need.

Thanks for ur help

Re: LC,Ceramic,SAW

Ceramic types are loaded transmission lines. This makes them smaller. They have one line per pole in the filter. This limits them to about 6 poles.

SAW types are convolution types and can have many poles equivalent in a small package and also have low differential delay distortion. The disadvantage is the high insertion loss.
