Analog RF design

Hi everybody,

I would like to know what are the best softwares to make analog RF design and what are their advantages and disadvantages?
Someone said to me that Momentum takes a long time to simulate multilayers PCB with a great number of layers: is it true and for how many layers it begins to be slow?

If someone could take 2 minutes to answer these few questions it 'll be very nice

Re: Analog RF design

all what i can say
try 2 use Pscpice 10 or better ADS
they are great in simulation and design actualy i think they r the best

Re: Analog RF design

There's nothing inherent in Momentum's fomulation that would cause it to be slow for many layers. There maybe something in the implementation, however.

Although my experience with Momentum is very limited (only demos), I have used most other planar MoM tools, and I have not seen this behaviour.
