what are basic differences between Specman and Vera?

Specman and Vera

Hi All,

Can someone tell me the basic differences between Specman and Vera? which one is better?

SV is a superset of Vera. I believe Synopsys has stop adding any major new features to Vera. If you have a choice between SV and Vera, choose SV. Vera will probably go away in a few years.
