what all the configuration bits available in mplab ide for 16f877a ??

1) what is configuration bits?explain one by one.
2) whats the role of these bits with respect to pic 16f877a ?
3) any fault in these bits will affect my code ?
compiler used is hi tech c compiler.
 

The Bits of fuse is same in the datasheet!!!
If you not use the fuses, the mcu works wrong or not run!!!
To see the all fuses available for the pic, search into folder (?:\Program Files (x86)\HI-TECH Software\PICC\X.XX\include\) the file pic16f877a.h... In this file have all about of the target pic.

explain oscillator ,watch dog timer,power up timer,brown on detector,low voltage programming,data eeprom,flash program write protect, code protect .in the configuration bits .explain how it affects the pic ic ??
