CMOS

Hi all,

Whath is to say for component data sheet.

3.3V supply, CMOS compatible
 Tri-state output with stand-by

regards

CMOS

3.3V should be the power supply to the component/ic
CMOS compatible means that it's input/output logic level is compatible to CMOS standard.
Tri-state output means that it's output can be in 3 states, i.e. LOW, HIGH, or Floating. Standby probably means that the output can be enabled (high/low) or disabled (floating)

Re: CMOS

In addition:
Stand-by probably sets the output in tri-state, more correctly referred as high impedance. At this state the node's voltage is not driven by your IC (an output with an extremely high impedance).

Also CMOS compatible nowadays has little meaning. It is just that the output uses logical levels close to =V and close to VDD - 3.3V in your case -.

Re: CMOS

3.3v is supply...
it is compatile with CMOS..also has 3 states..
