Hi,
im going here for a shot in the dark.... but...
I bought this treble booster at musikding... i put the pieces together followed the plans all correct.... the pedal actually works all good, but just for short.... after 20 minutes or so a loud hum appears on the background....
i contacted the company but they were not so helpfull...
i dont know where the problem lays.... i suppose that some sort of short circuit is happening... at the board if you look at it, its all solded correct... it might have a bit too much solder here and there, but apart from the ground, every where else no part is touching others by mistake...
could it be something like too much soldering???... grounds touching each other... or some capacitor flipped???... i dont know....
any ideas???
WHAT WOULD CAUSE AN LOUD HUM AFTER 20 MINUTES OR SO IN A FX PEDAL????
here is the parts list and plan:
**broken link removed**
cheers!
