Hi All,

I want to find a sensor to interface with my Arduino to measure the weight of a bucket (from 0 to 2kg roughly).

All of the load cells I can find are at least £50, which is really expensive.

I don't want to hack a kitchen or bathroom scale, it has to be an off-the-shelf component so that I can make lots of these devices if my design works.

Does anyone know of a cheap load cell - it does not have to be very accurate - or a better way to measure weight?

Thanks.

For ex.
1. Diy force sensor.............

2.Thin Force Sensor (quality & accuracy = ??? )

3. Force Sensing Resistors
Robot Force Sensors, Robot Pressure Sensor, Robot Touch Sensor, FSR, Force sensing Resistor

bathroom or kitchen scales uses various system how to detect weight(capacitive sensor or impulse counter). Load cells obviously not especially in cheap models.
