weighing system with micro controller

Hi friends
I am new about ARM microcontroller.
I am student.And my project is weighing sytem . I wanna design and make with microcontroller that is 32 bit ARM.
I have choosen convenient microchip that is LPC2364.
But I dont know how to program that microchip.I dont know anything about ARM microcontroller.
I reserch about weighing system Analog design but i dont any thing about Digital unit.:?:?
I wanna your help.

have you used any primary microcontroller like 89s51 or else?
if you have used than just go through datasheet.

can you help me that were can i start ?
and what should I do for practical practise.

you can start with basic microcontroller programming and then go for ARM.

are you using a development board or are you building your own PCB ?
